MISC intends to provide process water sourced from desalination plants through Oman Power and Water Procurement Co (OPWP). MISC has an allocation of 13,600 m3/day from OPWP as process or potable water, with an option to increase to 31,750 m3/day.

MISC will be building a network with a capacity to supply 31,750 m3/day of process water of standard specification . The network will be commissioned by January 2008, in the interim from July 2007 we will make available a temporary network to meet your initial demand.
By Q1 2009, we plan to build a 40,000 m3 storage facilities which will offer a day’s reserve storage.
