MISC provides process water sourced from desalination plants through Oman Power and Water Procurement Co (OPWP). MISC has an allocation of 13,600 m3/day from OPWP as process or potable water.

MISC is currently building a network with a capacity to supply 40,000 m3/day of process water of standard specification . The network will be commissioned by April 2009, in the interim from November 2007 we have been making available process water to customer in need of this service through a temporary network.
